Brian "Head" Welch, transformed by Christ

Passion of the Christ, Mary's perspective, beautifully captures a mother's deep love and vividly reminds us ... Jesus was fully God and fully human

While waiting for Austin at the orthodontist on Friday I read a Sports Illustrated story about Villanova guard Scottie Reynolds. I was absolutely blown away by this excerpt of the story ...

But nothing trumped Scottie's commitment to his faith. As a freshman he led the (Herndon Va.) Hornets to the regional championship game and then, as a crowd of 5,000 at Robinson High in Fairfax, Va., looked on aghast, left early in the fourth quarter because it was time for Wednesday-night Bible study. Herndon lost in double overtime. Scottie took flak from schoolmates but never reordered his priorities. Is it any surprise his nickname around town was the Exception?

Scottie Reynolds' outstanding career at Villanova ended abruptly with a loss to St. Mary's on Saturday. If you'd like to read more about the unfortunate ending to his brilliant college career, you can do so here ...

Villanova coach Jay Wright had this to say about Reynolds: "He loves impacting other people. I think he really lives his life for other people. I think that's what's most impressive about him."

We always have a choice about where to place our priorities.

It sounds like The Exception continues to choose well.
